Carrot is a quite functional tool that resembles a micro-CRM. There are no significant differences from similar services, and it offers the following features: - lead manager. For each user, cards are created containing all the information left on the site: name, email, phone number, as well as data from social networks and UTM tags. It also displays the actions the user takes on the page. There is a filtering option by names and activity. - consultant. All communications are gathered in one place, with integration of popular communication channels – VKontakte, Facebook, email, Telegram, and the chat itself. If a client leaves the page without waiting for a response in the chat, the message is duplicated to their email. - email newsletters. Everything is standard here: templates for emails are available, there is a user database, including those who started placing an order but didn’t complete it, with full information about them (who they are, status, what they ordered, etc.). All data can be segmented. Analytics on newsletters is conducted (sent/opened/clicks) and the reaction of individual users to emails is tracked. A funnel is formed: email – transition – order. Overall, it is a quite convenient tool for marketing automation. Those who have not used similar systems should give it a try. The program is really useful and convenient, and most importantly – intuitive, so there is no need to involve specialists for staff training. The team can master all the functions in a week by studying the manuals without being distracted from work. As for the price, it depends on the website's traffic. The pricing approach here is specific. We have 50,000 unique users per month, so we pay 6,000 (as per standard), but by paying for a year with a 30% discount, it came to 4,200. Additional modules are also available, such as an email builder, a unique email domain, additional packages for emails, etc. But the basic functionality is quite sufficient for us.

Pros
  • Functional tool
  • User-friendly interface
  • Integration with popular channels
  • Email analytics
  • Specific pricing model
Cons
  • No significant differences from competitors
  • Need to study manuals
  • Additional modules may be required
  • Price depends on traffic
  • Training needed for beginners

After connecting Carrot Quest, I was able to increase sales by 30% thanks to automation. Customers are not lost, and I have more time to focus on work rather than routine tasks. All settings can be done without the help of programmers, and the conversion growth is noticeable with the existing traffic. At first, I was assisted by ready-made scenarios while I was getting familiar with the system, but now I am planning the strategy myself. The cost of the system is quite reasonable, plus there is a 2-week trial period for testing it out. The system allows for online collection of information about store visitors, including contact details and time spent on specific product pages. Depending on user behavior, various automation tools are activated, such as pop-ups, automatic emails, SMS, and callbacks. All information is then gathered in one window, and analytics is done automatically. Even when a customer is not on the site, email campaigns can be conducted.

Pros
  • 30% sales increase
  • Automation of routine tasks
  • Settings without programmers
  • Reasonable system cost
  • Two-week trial period

The automation system has both positive and negative aspects. The main downside is that installation and setup require significant effort. Adapting scenarios to a specific business is particularly challenging, even though ideally it should be easy. Training employees on how to use the system also takes time and financial resources. For example, I have experience with the CRM Bitrix24, and it seemed easier to use. I have no complaints about the system's capabilities. There is user tracking on the website, allowing you to monitor their behavior, communicate through chat, or display pop-up banners. All information is then collected in leads. The consultant on the site works through several channels (chat, social media, email), and you can send newsletters based on the address database. The trigger setup is good, allowing for audience segmentation.

Pros
  • Good system capabilities
  • User tracking on site
  • Works through multiple channels
  • Trigger setup
  • Audience segmentation
Cons
  • Complex installation and setup
  • Difficulties adapting scenarios
  • Long employee training
  • High financial costs
  • More complex than Bitrix24

I didn't like it at all. We were choosing between several online chats. I needed a simple tool for the website to collect additional inquiries. I tried their trial version and was extremely dissatisfied. How can you use this outdated interface? The users are completely unclear, it's not obvious when exactly they wrote and in which window to respond; is the user online now or have I already missed their message? Overall, a complete failure. In the end, I deleted this chat and installed the code for another consultant that even my grandmother could handle.

Cons
  • Outdated interface
  • Unclear users
  • Unclear message timing
  • Complex to use
  • Unsatisfactory trial version

We installed the testing device. After testing it for a couple of days, we nearly lost consciousness from its complexity. It feels like you're piloting an airplane. There are many settings, but it's hard to intuitively figure it out. It's packed with features, yet there are no basic sound notifications :D As a result, requests get lost: you can't see them until you open the corresponding tab. Due to the overwhelming number of settings, it's hard to focus, and it's unclear how to remove already processed requests from view. All requests just hang in the list, making it difficult to determine which ones to respond to first. I do not recommend it. There are clearer alternatives available.

Cons
  • Complex interface
  • Many settings
  • No sound notifications
  • Difficult to track requests
  • Inconvenient request list

It seems that the developers created the product for programmers. The settings and management are extremely inconvenient, unclear, and incomplete. Most of them require writing code, which implies the need for a programmer. To change one setting, you have to configure another, and finding where to do this is very difficult, ultimately leading back to code. Why pay twice — for the service and for a programmer?! I do not recommend it!

Cons
  • Low management convenience
  • Unclear settings
  • Requires programming code
  • Hard to find necessary settings
  • High service cost

The servers regularly crash (four times in February alone, and last year they promised to fix this issue, but it remains, and moreover, it's starting to get really annoying), and because of this, even the chat button disappears from the website. The functionality is inconvenient: after a year of using the service, I have accumulated a lot of tags, and there is no way to delete them all at once by simply checking them. Each tag deletion refreshes the page, which takes 15-20 seconds while the platform processes and deletes the tag. They didn't even offer help in the chat when I expressed my dissatisfaction, even though I'm sure they could have contacted the technical department. Overall, this is a typical Russian product with shortcomings at an inflated price.

Cons
  • Servers regularly crash
  • Inconvenient functionality
  • No mass tag deletion
  • Slow tag removal
  • No chat support

Everything would be great if the server didn't crash several times a day. Dear Carrot Quest developers, please improve the stability of your platform. Due to regular system failures, our clients sometimes wait for dozens of minutes — this is unacceptable for our company.

Cons
  • Server stability issues
  • Regular system failures
  • Long customer wait times
  • Unacceptable platform performance
  • Need for service improvement

On our website, we use several tools from Carrot Quest. The first is the online chat. Basically, there's nothing unusual about it; it's just regular multichannel communication that allows us to continue interacting with customers through messengers or social networks. At the same time, the system collects all available information about the visitor and saves the chat history. The second tool is a popup that helps retain users on the site and gather their contacts. The service has a convenient builder that allows you to create a popup without needing to know code (it turns out really great). You can set up triggers, sending conditions, and user segments for it. Right now, we are planning to try creating a bot and assess its effectiveness. We are satisfied with the price. We have no questions or complaints; the tools are excellent and work reliably.

Pros
  • Convenient online chat
  • Good popup builder
  • Visitor information collection
  • Stable tool performance
  • Affordable price

My experience with the Carrotquest service was extremely disappointing. Additional funds were deducted from my account without warning for exceeding the unique user quota, even though I hardly used their services. My request for a refund went unanswered, and the explanations provided were not clear or transparent enough. I didn't like that the service staff, instead of offering solutions or apologies, continued to insist on their positions, ignoring customer needs. It’s an unpleasant situation that left more questions than answers. Due to such a negative experience and poor approach to work, I cannot recommend this service.

Cons
  • Unclear problem explanations
  • Ignoring client needs
  • No refunds
  • Charges without warning
  • Negative communication experience
