For 500 rubles, the guys really put in the effort: they created a website, set up a payment system, and advertised their services. However, as soon as I paid for the hosting, the work immediately stopped. Fortunately, I didn't pay for the other services, otherwise I could have lost much more money. In the end, of course, it's my fault - the main page only lists a Moscow number, and it seems they didn't have enough funds for the 8-800 number.

I ordered a domain from Webnames and made the payment, but then there was silence. The domain was not registered. I waited three hours, after which I wrote to support — there was no response. I called and found out that Saturday and Sunday are days off! I placed the order and paid on Saturday around 6 PM. The domain was needed for a client, who was causing me inconvenience the whole time. In the end, after 6 hours, I bought the domain from another registrar! It turns out that the domain remained available after payment! Now I also need to figure out how to get my money back (2560 ₽). It seems like a scam!

Over the course of a year, I reached out to customer support several times, and it feels like it simply doesn't exist. Responses come within a day or two, and usually, it's something like "leave us alone." There is complete silence on follow-up questions. Even if you mark a ticket as "urgent," it doesn't matter. It's completely unclear how to make a payment from the personal funds that are here. When attempting to make a payment, various options are offered, but none from the personal balance. As a result, the money is stuck. Honestly, this is the first time I've encountered such a domain registrar. It's hard to say what kind of hosting provider this is, but for me, Webnames "fails" even at the simplest operation. Now all that's left is to wait for customer support to respond. Maybe they will help with something, who knows.

Three years ago, I registered the domain kaleostra.com with them. It turned out that I provided inaccurate information about the owner during registration. Although I confirmed my details in my personal account, three years later, when the domain became well-known, they simply blocked it. Support says they can't do anything and didn't even provide a timeframe for clarifying the owner's information. ICANN states that a court decision is needed to resolve the issue, as it is disputed. I came across information about the shady dealings of this registrar: they block promoted domains and either place ads on them or sell them. This greatly outraged me, as I had been working with them for several years. Even my visit to their office didn't help. The conclusion is obvious — they are scammers.

I have a website in a "gray" niche, and my domain in the .com zone was blocked. They did not respond to my request for an explanation (it seems that some ill-wishers did their job: the day before, they were sending spam on behalf of the site, and as a result, the domain ended up on blacklists). The blocking happened on a Friday, and I immediately wrote to them, but I didn't get a response until Tuesday. I had to call. After the call, there was still no response; they just unblocked the domain. In the end, they provided a transfer code, so now I'm hoping for the best. I can't say that the registrar is completely bad (if I manage to transfer the domain, that would be good), but, for example, GoDaddy doesn't help at all and just ignores requests.

I have an extremely negative impression of this website, especially regarding their hosting. Customer support is virtually nonexistent. If you encounter a problem, it seems like no one is even willing to help. I've been using hosting since 2006, but their attitude towards customers just infuriates me. If something goes wrong on their end, you have to wait a long time, and I'm really tired of it.
