Convenient registrar with good hosting, but there are nuances.

I have been using Webnames (Domains.RU) for domain registration and hosting for several years. Pros: all services in one place, a convenient ISP Manager control panel in Russian, a wide selection of domain zones, and affordable prices. The hosting works stably, with high uptime, and websites load quickly. There is automatic CMS deployment right after ordering hosting. They also have a referral program. Cons: payment processing can take up to a day through some methods, customer support only operates on weekdays and sometimes responds slowly, and prices for some zones are above average. Overall, it's a good option for domain registration and hosting if you don't have special requirements.

Over three years of working with Webnames.ru, I have registered more than fifty domains. Everything was great until a critical situation arose recently, which forced me to contact technical support. I failed to pay for one of the domains on time, and naturally, the website stopped functioning. The problem was just a hundred rubles. I decided to top up my balance via SMS, but the payment only came through after a day! The money was credited, but I was still short by just over three rubles because they charged me an unclear fee of 25%. The website still didn’t work, and I had to wait another day for the second payment to arrive. In the end, the site was down for more than two days, which led to a significant loss of clients. I understand that this was also my mistake, but why does the money take almost a day to reach the account? Is it really that difficult to simplify and speed up the payment process? I want to warn that when using Webnames.ru hosting, it’s better to pay for domains on time, or even better – in advance. This situation upset me a bit, but overall I am quite satisfied, so I am ready to rate Webnames.ru a solid four and recommend this hosting to everyone!

I do not recommend registering anything through this company, save your nerves and money! The support service politely ignores or doesn't respond at all, and they only work on weekdays, if you can even call that "working." The hosting is terrible too; websites are often unavailable, and when they do work, there are significant delays. You won't get backups from them. So it's not worth dealing with them!

The prices for the main services are quite reasonable, especially for hosting: the most expensive plan costs 350 rubles per month, and the features provided are impressive, while the cheapest option at 118 rubles is perfect for a company’s business card. I use "Optima" for my website, and I am completely satisfied: there is enough disk space, pages load quickly, and the server operates stably 24/7. Additionally, I actively participate in the auctions. There are several types: fixed price, classic ascending auction, and Dutch descending auction. I usually sell domains in the Dutch auction: you just need to purchase a domain and the appropriate zone, and then list them for bidding here. As a result, the income is about 3-4 thousand a month, which fully covers the costs of maintaining and promoting the website.

The provided space is sufficient, they do not limit traffic, and the servers have been running smoothly for two months now. They regularly perform backups. For the website transfer, I was offered several hosting options, including packages with integrated CMS. My plan includes a dedicated IP, which helps avoid the impact of neighboring sites' traffic on my access speed. There is also protection against being blacklisted by IP due to provider errors. Additionally, they offer a 15% discount for annual payments, making the prices even more attractive. Overall, I have no complaints about the hosting; the provider operates at a high level.

I use hosting and a domain purchased from this provider. As for the domain, there’s not much to add: it’s a commercial organization, so they have “.com,” and the cost is just over 800 rubles a year. I’m quite satisfied with that. My hosting is specific, designed for Bitrix. The content management system was already installed, and I just needed to integrate it with my nodes. Additionally, they provided me with a one-month trial period. The fee of 230 rubles per month when paid annually seems quite reasonable, especially considering the 4.5 GB of disk space and the ability to host three websites. The ISP Manager control panel is also convenient, especially since it’s in Russian. There’s also an email service with spam protection. I’m additionally pleased with the data insurance for a month if I don’t manage to or forget to pay for hosting. Considering the claimed server uptime of 99.9% (although I haven’t noticed any technical issues myself), the hosting is simply excellent.
