Site Availability

Is the site down just for you, or for everyone? The tool requests the page from our server and shows whether it's reachable, with which response code, and how fast it answers.

The Site Availability tool checks whether a website is up right now. The request runs from our server, not from your network — so you can tell whether a site is down for everyone or just for you (your ISP, Wi-Fi, DNS, or browser cache).

How to check if a site is up

  1. Enter the site address — for example, https://example.com (the https:// is optional).
  2. Click "Check".
  3. You'll see whether the site is reachable, which status code it returned, and how fast it responded.

What the results show

  • Status — "Site is available" (codes 2xx–3xx) or "Site is unavailable" (a connection error or a 4xx–5xx code).
  • Response code — the HTTP status: 200 is fine, 301/302 is a redirect, 403/404 means access denied or not found, 500/502/503 means a server error.
  • Response time — how many milliseconds the server took to answer. Lower is better for users and SEO.
  • Server IP and the Server header — where and on what the site is hosted.

What to do if a site is down

If the tool says the site is up but it won't open for you, clear your cache, change your DNS (e.g. to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8), or try another network. If it's down here too, the problem is on the site's side: an expired domain, a crashed host, a code error, or a block. The Domain Expiry, DNS records, and SSL check tools help narrow it down.

Frequently asked questions

Why does it say "unavailable" when the site actually opens?

Some sites block automated requests or require cookies/JavaScript, returning a 403. That's protection, not an outage — open the site manually to confirm.

Does the tool monitor the site continuously?

No, this is a one-off "right now" check. For continuous monitoring with alerts you'd need a dedicated uptime service.
