I chose Shop Script for my gift online store, and every day I become more convinced that I made the right choice. It took me just over a week to fully open the store. On the first day, I got acquainted with the system, set it up, and explored its functionality. The rest of the time was dedicated to adding products. I didn't even consider buying Shop Script scripts, as this is a completely unfamiliar area for me. So, I used the web service and got a ready-made store in just a few minutes. I didn't expect it to be so easy. Many prefer to pay third-party specialists to create stores, but I believe that's outdated. Today, even minimal knowledge allows you to create a quality online store. Of course, optimization and promotion are tasks for professionals, but adding products, publishing content, and many other tasks can definitely be done independently. Especially when using CMS Shop Script – a simple, understandable, and accessible system that I am very satisfied with.

For creating an online store from scratch, this is the perfect choice. In my case, the development and launch of a fairly large project took only 4 days. I have some experience, but it's not enough to create a beautiful and functional website on my own. It would take a lot of time, and there's no guarantee that the final result would be as high-quality as it is now. This system is an excellent alternative to the expensive services of a good programmer. Although the management system is standard and there are many analogs, for me, Shop Script turned out to be the most convenient, functional, and cost-effective. For the time being, the standard installation is quite sufficient. At first, I created a test store and explored the features of the system, which is useful for beginners. It's very convenient that you can add products to the catalog not one by one, but in whole categories, simply by dragging a batch of photos or a list from 1C into the browser, which saves a huge amount of time. I just had to enter the characteristics and price for each product. For convenience, I immediately set up filtering by several parameters, and the system offers this option. The integration with 1C is done at a high level. I am completely satisfied with the program.

The first experience was more complicated, as I constantly had to search for themes on various forums. This system is quite popular and often discussed, so there was no point in contacting the developers with questions. The second time, the process went more smoothly, and now I can say that the system is indeed very modern and functional. This is especially important since many platforms are becoming generic and similar to each other. Using this system, you can create a site that stands out a bit from the competitors, making it more attractive to customers. There is a wide selection of ready-made designs with unique layouts to suit any taste. The script runs on the Webasyst framework, and to get started, you just need to download the distribution that includes all the necessary files. The analytical tools for statistics are top-notch and include cohort analysis, profit breakdown by traffic sources, inventory analysis, potential profit forecasting, and ROI and LTV metrics. A/B testing can be conducted using Google Analytics; everything is simple and accessible. I have no complaints about the developers; everything works smoothly.

The website builder for online stores has many problems. Recently, they released an update to version 8, and I was lucky to have version 7, as the transition for users of earlier versions turned out to be paid. Although, considering the subscription for updates (which, in essence, should be free since they are improving their functionality for clients), it doesn't bring any savings. The store has long switched to its own hosting, as the previous one was completely unsatisfactory. I don't know how they manage their servers, but the site often crashes. As for the engine freezing, that didn't solve the problem. I thought it was the servers, but in reality, the builder itself is poorly written. For example, when placing an order, the page can take several seconds to load, which I find unacceptable. Regarding its functionality, formally yes, you can do everything yourself without knowing programming languages. The builder is quite simple and intuitive, but if you need to customize something, that's where the difficulties begin. I encountered them right at the creation stage, as my business is service-oriented rather than product-oriented. The builder is geared towards products, and replacing them with services can only be done through programming code, as it wasn't initially designed for that. Now I'm considering whether to switch to WordPress with WooCommerce. As for version 8, they added a new dynamic page for order processing, which made the process significantly more convenient – at least they have made progress in something.

I have been using WebAsyst Shop Script since 2011. The admin panel is top-notch — even a school kid can handle it. The engine works quickly, even with a large number of products; for example, I have 28,000 SKUs. The technical support is excellent; I always received answers to my questions. As for the downsides, I would note that the engine is not very convenient for search engines, although there are many SEO plugins in the marketplace — maybe I just haven't fully figured it out. Also, there's a downside to the subscription model that everyone is moving towards now! But perhaps that's a good thing — the developers will be able to focus on SEO!

A wonderful CMS. This is definitely one of the most user-friendly systems for managing an online store. I believe it is one of the best among store engines. Of course, there are some drawbacks, but support occasionally resolves them, and the developers also assist in the knowledge base. Everything is quite simple and intuitive. The main thing is to remember to renew your lease on time if your site is rented.

Hosting can be changed at any time. In my opinion, this is one of the best platforms for creating an online store, allowing you to start with minimal investment and then gradually invest in improving the website.
