I have already mentioned all the advantages of renting virtual servers. There's no need to stick to standard solutions; for example, I set up the server according to my needs and only pay for the resources I require. You can configure parameters such as CPU, RAM, SSD size, number of IPs, and DDoS protection. While the SSDs are really good, sometimes it’s more cost-effective to use older HDDs if speed requirements aren’t critical, but the provider doesn’t offer that option. To reduce costs, you can rent a server for a long term. They provided a 15% discount for a year, which is nice. It’s also worth noting that the geographical network of data centers covers Europe and the USA, but this only applies to standard configurations. The provider has its own data center in Chelyabinsk, where you can customize the configuration. All other locations only offer ready-made solutions. The hardware is good: they use Intel Xeons, which are currently popular among large providers. As for stability, everything is top-notch — the uptime is 99.9%. The provider is interested in maintaining this figure, as the contract guarantees compensation for downtime at ten times the rate. So, in case of downtime, I only benefit. Unlimited traffic is also important to me. I don’t see any serious drawbacks, except I would like to see HDDs, but they probably won’t come back.

The builders work adequately, and there is an option to customize the hosting to meet specific needs. A nice selection of locations for VPS (which is important for us). In a year of using the hosting, there have been no outages or failures. Support responds quickly and effectively.

I rent several virtual machines in different countries for load balancing. I really like the affordable price (by the way, they recently lowered their rates) and the ability to manage everything from one panel. The server in Amsterdam costs 390 rubles per month. It works quickly and stably. If there is downtime, they compensate for the rental time. I recommend it!

I tested a virtual server on the Optima plan located in Chelyabinsk, paying for the minimum term of 3 months. According to the plan, the virtual machine was supposed to have 0.5 GB of memory (about 512 MB). However, in practice, it only received about 342 MB (the system monitor top shows 326.9 MiB). The ProfitServer data center promises an internet channel with a bandwidth of 50 to 100 Mbps. But measurements from 4 different Russian data centers (Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and Severetsk) show speeds ranging from 30 to 50 Mbps.
