We discovered the advantages of cloud-based 1C during the pandemic. When we switched to remote work, there was a need for access to 1C. It turned out to be very simple: we imported the database, configured the settings, chose the necessary configuration, and paid for the workstations – and work resumed. Over time, this became routine, and now many employees continue to work remotely in this format. There are even certain advantages compared to standard deployment. Firstly, there’s no need for a server and space for backups; secondly, there’s no need for maintenance; and thirdly, everything works significantly faster (for such performance, we would have to seriously invest in computers, which is not affordable). Moreover, there’s no need to pay for a local license. In the end, we are even in the black. As for reliability, the situation is similar. It’s the same 1C, just in the cloud.
