The tool that was promised truly allows you to easily turn a website into an online school with many features. Partially, this is true, but the implementation leaves much to be desired. Not all the praised features turn out to be useful. For example, the "copyright protection" prevents downloading videos to your computer, redirects you to YouTube, and even blocks the right mouse button. But the question arises: who will this really stop? Many still record online courses using various applications, and here Memberlux proves to be powerless. Remove this protection, and nothing will change. As for the implementation, the service used to be quite raw, but the situation has improved recently. Previously, students' access to the platform could suddenly disappear, and then the complaints would come to me. This affected my income and reputation due to their shortcomings. Usually, such failures occurred after updates, but now this has become rare. Updates add new features, capabilities, and fix some old bugs. Overall, the service is now more stable than before. Other than that, there’s nothing to criticize. The site can be styled and branded, course categories can be created, access levels can be configured, and various payment methods for education can be accepted. The design is responsive, which is nice – most students watch courses on smartphones, and not all course platforms can boast a good responsive design.

The plugin is not cheap, and at the time of purchase, the only positive aspect is that it requires a one-time payment. There is no monthly subscription fee, and the functionality is acquired forever. If the school is small, you can choose a package with a limit on the number of students. This number can be increased with additional packages or by purchasing an unlimited option. Honestly, it's better to pay an extra 5,000 right away and get a package for an unlimited number of students, which will cost about 15,000. But these are not the only expenses, as there are also modules with additional features. For example, a payment processing module, an advanced trainer (which includes access levels, assigning trainers, homework statistics, etc.), and self-registration (essentially automation, as it automates the creation of various links in addition to registration). Each of these modules costs almost as much as the initial unlimited package. In the end, the total cost of the purchase will be just under 50,000. And this is for a regular WordPress plugin. However, the site can become a full-fledged online school, and you won't have to pay third-party platforms monthly for hosting courses and processing payments. It doesn't pay off immediately; I was able to recoup my costs for my courses in about 7 months. Now I have no expenses for hosting courses, and I teach only for profit. It's also worth remembering that this is a plugin, not a standalone solution.
