1) Keep in mind that when installing the captcha from "Botfaktor" to block bots, all robots visiting your site have unrestricted access to the page code. This means that a parser can easily collect data when it visits your site, as the blocking mechanism will only activate on a repeat visit, and why would a bot return if it can gather everything in one go? Support suggests using a standard blocking method, such as redirecting to their page or yours, but there's a catch: your site's page loads first, consuming server resources, and only then does the redirect happen. 2) When connecting this anti-bot, a service to reduce the cost of goals in Direct is actively promoted — this raises doubts, but I decided to give it a try, and in the end, the cost of the goal increased (screenshot attached). 3) It's strange that their database does not include the Biteryk and Hertz bots by default, as it's known that many spam bots come from there. 4) There is no option to set blocking rules based on AS NAME, user-agent, etc., meaning you can't define your own rules. 5) There is a lack of detailed statistics (which specific bots were blocked, their numbers, addresses, agents, where they are trying to access) — the system only shows a graph and dry numbers about those blocked. In my opinion, the system works incorrectly — the bot check should be performed before loading the site's content to avoid server load, not after. I don't understand where all the enthusiastic reviews about the service come from and feel that I wasted 10,000. I previously used another service — it accounted for these issues, but due to the site's front end moving to JS, its use became impossible.
