I have been using this service for several years and mostly have not encountered any problems. There were only some difficulties in a couple of countries where you need to specify the correct APN (this can all be resolved through support, but you have to reach them first since there is no internet). Everything else is great. You can purchase the SIM card in advance, and upon arrival at the airport, you already have a digital SIM card with internet from a local operator. This allows you to easily call a taxi without worrying about finding internet. The cost is significantly cheaper than with local operators. I haven't tested other e-SIM services because I've been using this one for a long time, and it rarely lets me down. Even if there are cheaper options somewhere, saving my nerves is more important to me.
