I have been trading Tether on this exchange almost since it started. In the beginning, the conditions were much more attractive – makers didn't pay a fee, and takers had a fee of 0.07%. This is a common practice to attract liquidity. Currently, the fees have increased: makers pay 0.07%, and takers pay 0.1%. Nevertheless, even now, trading with stablecoins remains profitable. On other platforms, the fees are higher, and alternative methods (like P2P markets) are less advantageous. Additionally, to buy USDT here, you don't need foreign currency, as the only pair on the exchange is with RUB (although there is one with USD, most people find it more convenient and easier to conduct transactions in rubles).
