Fishing Tip: As bream begin
to move to their beds, they
will get extremely aggressive.
A cricket fished under a
bobber on a long-shanked no. 6
hook is ideal to search for
beds. Just drop it near likely
cover and let it sit to a
count of 10. Then move to the
next likely piece of cover.
When you find a bed, the
bobber won?t stay on the
surface for more than a second
before a bream gets the
cricket. Once you catch a
couple of bream in the same
place quickly, you may want to
change to a micro jig or
rubber-legged fly under the
bobber to catch fish quickly
without needing to rebait with
a fresh cricket after every
catch

Head east salmon fishermen
While you`re waiting for the
hot new summer Chinook season
to begin on the Skagit River,
salmon fishermen, how about a
warmup on the Yakima?
Sure, it`s a drive, but it
would make a nice weekender,
exploring some new water in
the sunshine of the scenic
Yakima Valley, maybe visiting
a winery or two, and always
with the very real opportunity
of landing one of those prime
springers -- the fish you
missed down below Bonneville
on the lower Columbia.

Is there an easier way to stop
dry fly away hair?
After my hair dries, it is
very fly away. I comb it again
with cold water, but then as
soon as it is dry again, it
flies away again! It gets so
frustrating. Am I using the
wrong shampoo? Is that what it
is? I use white rain.

I prefer the white color and
the yellow color. I have
caught some 5lb bass along
with 2lb perch, nice crappie,
sunnies, trout, chubbs, and
pickerel. it is like the
beetle spin an overall
effective lure. I find the
single blade to be very
decisive to the fish. double
blades and tripple blades is
like hooking two plastic worms
on one hook not too effective.
it is very cost effecient like
$1.50 at Walmart. I highly
suggest one for a "go to"
lure.

Kastmaster Spoon 1/4oz
Chrome
Kastmasters balance produces
wild lure action without line
twist. Because of its
aerodynamic design its a great
distance casting lure.
Kastmasters catch fish from
pan-sized trout to
bragging-size stripers in both
fresh and salt water. The
Kastmaster is machined from
solid brass resulting in a
lure that wont break bend or
corrode and it retains its
luster even after repeated
exposure to salt water.

Fish increase and bears follow
The archeological record
indicates their ancestors
probably arrived in the land
now called Alaska at least
50,000 years ago. The first
humans don`t appear for
another 35,000 or 40,000
years.
It doesn`t matter.
There are no 40,000-year-old
bears or 15,000-year-old
people running around in Far
North Bicentennial Park. There
are some 60-year-old people
who`ve spent their lives in
Anchorage still using the
park. If you want to get
technical, they were in the
park before any bear now
alive. Thus, you could also
argue the people were here
first.

Wet flies The classic
drowning
When we talk about usually
flies must refer to its
historical development, and
start back by Dame Juliana
Berners
in its "Treatyse Fysshynge
with an Angle," published in
England in 1496, describes 12
flies that imitate natural
insects to fish for trout and
salmon. In 1967 WH Lawrie in
English Trout Flies "analyzes
and identifies some of the
flies described by Berners,
they are: March Brown, Olive
Dun, Great Red Spinner, May
Fly, Sedge, Alderfly and
Grannom. Lawrie is well
defined with three styles, and
body Hackle: Soft Hackle,
tails, wings and body Hackle:
Wingless Wets, some tails,
bodies, wings and primary
Hackle: Winged Wets, a
traditional way of stifling
those tied today day.

Maybe You Need a Pile of
Flies
Some folks buy a bunch of
flies, because they don`t like
tying. Some simply enjoy the
process of tying flies. They
don‘t care how long it
takes. This leaves us with
the folks who tie their own
and want to get them done
fast.
Why would a person need to tie
more than a few flies? Maybe
you don’t have the funds to
buy them. You need extra for
others fishing with you. Some
flies wear out. Dry flies can
become water logged and need
to be swapped with one
that’s dry.

what is the best way to fish a
gold spoon during the fall off
the bank, fishing for bass?
This time of year you have to
find out where the baitfish
are. Bass are now stocking up
on their winter reserves and
need to eat like pigs. If you
are on a river or watershead,
try finding places that have a
current (not rapids or
anything). baitfish get pushed
by the flowing current and
bass like to hide out in the
water where bodies of water
are connected and wait for the
current to do its thing!

Types of fishing lines. Part
one.
Hail! Hope you recognized,
right fishing line is the base
for fortunate and pleasurable
fishing. I wish to speak with
you about various types
fishing lines: monofilament
line, braided fishing line,
fluorocarbon and colored
lines.
At the start lets examine to
Monofilament line.
Monofilament means a undivided
(singlie) chain of line, but
in sport fishing it has become
know as nylon fishing line.
Nylon Monofilament is a
single-component detail, which
is constituted by a
compressing process in which
fused plastic is made into a
chain through a die. Nylon
Monofilament line is a
co-product of crude oil
changeover. Premium class line
experiences more attention in
quality-control, accept many
additives what causes line
harder, and have more abrasion
resistant than average line.
This is why the premium lines
are costlier.
