I was denied the veteran combatant certificate, but not everyone was; most of the sailors and officers from our unit received it. From 1990 to 1991, our unit 95462 was in a combat zone in the Republic of Ethiopia, and during this period, the island of Nokra, where our unit was located, was subjected to missile attacks.
