I ordered mugs. A large box arrived with a "Very Fragile" label. Inside, nothing rattles. All the empty space is filled with large bubble wrap. The mugs are wrapped on the outside with sheet foam and thick cardboard, and the rim of the mug is protected with thin cardboard. The tactile sensations from the ceramics are pleasant.
