If you need affordable earth-moving equipment for precise spot work, I can definitely recommend STRONG excavators - we have the M1000 trailer version, without its own drive, but I don't think the buckets, hydraulics, and controls differ significantly from model to model. We've been using ours for about a year and a half, and during this time, we haven't had any technical issues, and we haven't had to call the manufacturer.
