Paid promotion works better; the likes on Instagram are the same, but a portion of the users is more or less real. At least they all have avatars, followers, subscriptions, and even posts. Only a few remain private, and I suspect they are also bots. But in general, there aren't that many of them. I received the same 100 likes, but it took a few hours, quite smoothly and in full volume. The likes came from Russian-speaking users, which is nice.
