Creating courses on the Smartller platform is justified only if there are no funds for full-fledged webinar platforms. Honestly, among the advantages compared to selling courses directly through websites or social media, I can only highlight the ability to accept payments with automatic access to materials for students, as well as the presence of homework and tests. Otherwise, the functionality leaves much to be desired. The design cannot be seriously customized, newsletters are still sent through third-party services, there are no integrations, and you cannot add anything of your own. Even the payment process goes through AutoWebOffice (or Spoonpay as an alternative). I tested the most budget-friendly plan. From a functionality standpoint, everything is fine: the platform doesn't freeze, courses open without issues, videos display in good quality, and I have no complaints as a student (I took my own course). In some sense, this simplicity is even a plus: students won't get confused, unlike many webinar platforms where you have to create FAQs explaining what and where to click to view lessons and receive homework. Here, everything is intuitive.
