I also appreciated Spam Guard. I had a highly spammed account, judging by its report. Of course, I selectively checked some of the follower pages listed in the report. It turned out to be true—bots, inactive accounts, commercial pages. I already got a full subscription to have a broader understanding. It handles cleaning and blocking excellently. And I noticed that after all these actions, my reach has increased.
