We visited the site and were satisfied with the stated features. We contacted support and tested the store creation. The trial license was valid for a month. Throughout the trial, everything seemed to work, but there were constant minor issues – one thing or another. Technical support seemed to fix everything. In the end, when the month was up, we purchased a paid license and launched the store, but we encountered constant problems! Sometimes the payment system doesn’t work, sometimes after an update some products disappear, sometimes the text alignment on the pages is disrupted, and other errors arise. Overall, everything works, but imagine how it looks for the customer: they enter a store where the text is misaligned, buttons are inactive, and after payment, they receive an error page (even though the money has already been deducted) and so on. I wouldn’t risk buying and entering card details in such a store! We have been trying to deal with this situation for three months now – constantly facing the same problems! Meanwhile, we have a web developer working with a salary of 120k a month, who essentially spends his time testing bugs, sending them to phpshop, and waiting for a response for 1-5 days! This is my biggest and most expensive mistake – I needed to launch an online store, and creating it from scratch seemed too costly (website, database, admin panel, CMS, and so on) – so we decided to go with a ready-made solution. As a result, three months of the web developer's work cost us 360k! And it’s unclear how to get out of this situation: on one hand, I regret the money spent (the developer's salary is more important than the phpshop license), I want to continue working with this constructor, but on the other hand, I realize that you can only work with phpshop if you are willing to accept that your site will look bad and function the same way! It seems that I will have to develop from scratch after all, as it would be cheaper to pay for development 400-600k than to buy a license for 10k from phpshop.
