It all started with an ad on Avito where this company was selling used graphics cards at a not-so-cheap but reasonable price. Over the phone, they swore that all the equipment was in working condition and under warranty at Citilink. During a personal meeting, I bought 2 graphics cards and they scheduled a meeting at the metro. When I asked to check if they were working, they claimed there was no place to do so... I also bought 2 risers from them... I didn't pay much attention to the risers; they were just lying in the bag.
The first issue arose when I got home... the risers were for NGFF PCI-e connectors. I thought, okay, I'll call them and order different ones; I needed those too... I pointed out that they made a mistake with the risers, and I was just surprised by their response that they would send a video on how to fit them into the PCI-e connector... well, they promised to call back about the replacement delivery. By evening, a second problem popped up: one of the graphics cards was overheating. I took it apart to change the thermal paste and voila... there were burn marks on the heatsink from burnt components. I sent a photo via WhatsApp and called the seller, and the response was, "We sold you working equipment, and we won't refund your money; it's under warranty, so contact Citilink."
But that's not all... I looked at the memory chips and it said Samsung, but the info about the card showed Hynix... I dumped the BIOS and wondered which smart person flashed the BIOS from Hynix onto Samsung memory... I felt sorry for those who used their services... very sad people...
