I recommend these courses to anyone interested in game development. Of course, they are not as good as those at Xwise (in my opinion, the best courses in this field), but they allow you to learn the basics for free (or for a small fee, depending on how much you are willing to pay for convenience) and figure out if this is right for you. I am currently studying at the aforementioned school, and the knowledge I gained from ITProger has been very helpful. There are small courses consisting of about 10 lessons on creating various games in Unreal Engine, Unity, as well as development in Python and C++. There are also casual games for Android. The courses are presented in the form of short video lessons that can be watched for free on YouTube. However, you will have to pay for additional materials. It's up to each person to decide whether to subscribe, but in my opinion, it's not necessary if you have basic knowledge. A subscription can be useful for downloading materials and consultations, but the cheapest plan won't include that, so you'll have to spend some money. I decided not to pay and just familiarized myself with the material. Everything is presented clearly, without unnecessary information. It's immediately clear that the program developer understands the topic. I have no complaints about the instructor; everything is explained quite simply. Right now, I have to read a lot of additional literature, while ITProger has everything in the videos. Of course, you won't be able to learn something serious in a short time, but you can grasp the basics and gain skills in the necessary program or create a few similar projects. Overall, this is a great start for those who are still unsure whether to pursue a career in game development.
