For a year and a half now, I've been studying something new here from time to time. All the materials are free, and I've never even felt the desire to subscribe. I'm managing perfectly well without source files, homework, and feedback. Mostly, I watch courses on website creation, and there are a lot of them here. For example, courses on creating a blog with Ruby, WordPress, classic topics with HTML5/CSS3, various frameworks for layout, JavaScript itself, and so on. However, all of this is at a basic level, and I sometimes have to look for additional information from other sources. I practice on my own, take on projects, and try to recreate them based on the technologies I've learned. It's a pity that there aren't enough materials on design; there's only the basics of Photoshop and a few lessons on 3D modeling. I already have a good grasp of the first, and I don't need the second. It would be nice to see free lectures on UX/UI, but they probably won't appear. Overall, everything is great. Although, for free courses, it feels a bit unfair to look for shortcomings.
