Just regular scammers. I read reviews about them. My experience is exactly the same. We agreed on the production of a small website, I paid an advance, they created a "template," didn't provide the source files, and then literally started extorting the remaining money. When they realized they wouldn't get any money for free, they started hurling insults. I do not recommend getting involved with them. I'm sure these "guys" haven't done a single decent job. They are very concerned about reviews and reputation badges.
