I have been working with Finolog for about six months. This service is similar to popular online accounting tools, but it is more focused on financial accounting, which is suitable for individual entrepreneurs. Previously, I used Excel for most tasks, but this service turned out to be more convenient. Firstly, data entry has become easier; there’s no need to figure out numerous functions (everything you need is already provided), and creating charts has become simpler and more informative. Additionally, data from Excel can be imported into Finolog. It's convenient to track cash flow – you can see everything. You can create planned operations independently, forecast cash flow (taking into account future client payments), use templates for regular operations, and predict cash gaps. There is integration with banks, but it’s worth noting that not all popular ones are supported. I got lucky since I work with Alfa, while only Tinkoff, Modul, and Tochka are available besides it. The analytics and reporting are at an average level. The system only calculates standard indicators, such as expense analysis, cash flow reports, and profit and loss reports by project. It’s good that everything is done automatically. A table or chart is generated, showing the overall picture of the business, and then you make decisions yourself. Although it would be nice to add more capabilities to the analytics. You can work with the system not only from a computer but also from a phone, although the app is only available for iPhones. The interface is pleasant; data entry is not too convenient, but controlling finances is simply perfect. There’s also a Telegram bot that allows you to add financial transactions (including from Android devices, which is useful for users without iPhones), check the balance, and receive reports based on specified commands.
