Review: LTE smartphone Conquest Knight S8 PTT - A smartphone for builders and advanced geeks!
The first thing that strikes you about the smartphone is its appearance. A rugged phone for real men! A solid, sturdy body that doesn’t slip in your hand thanks to the textured surface on the back. It has metal accents on the sides and firm functional buttons. The Conquest Knight logo is present on both the front and back of the phone. Turning on the phone is accompanied by an original splash screen from Conquest. Everything is stylish and concise. Overall, this smartphone is a great purchase for yourself or as a gift!
Pros:
- LTE support and PTT walkie-talkie feature
- GPS and GLONASS support
- IP-68 protection rating, the SIM card slot is actually protected by a cover with a silicone seal
- Useful sensors: accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetic compass, barometer, thermometer, etc.
- Option to set a large font
- Excellent charging dock included as a gift from the store - just superb! Very convenient and functional!
- The sensor response is excellent. No lag, apps launch quickly
- Availability of essential pre-installed apps, as well as PlayMarket, so you can install any other apps you need for work.
- Thanks to 3G/4G support, the internet works quickly, pages load fast without delays or freezes
- Good call quality, no noise during conversations due to noise cancellation in the microphones
- Affordable price for the premium segment; I bought it on sale for 34,990 rubles; compared to iPhones and Samsung Galaxies that cost over 50,000 rubles, the price of the Conquest S8 is quite low.
Cons:
- The radio only works when headphones are connected, which are not included. I consider this a minor drawback since it can be easily fixed, especially since it allows you to choose headphones that suit your taste.
- It’s a bit annoying that some settings in the smartphone are in English, for example, the SOS Setting is not localized.
- Some installed apps are in Chinese - it’s hard to even understand if I need them or if I can delete them without any fuss and forget about them forever...
- The rear camera is 13.0 Mpix (the maximum resolution of photos is 3120x4160), but in terms of quality (sharpness, saturation, etc.), the photos are slightly worse than those taken with a 10 Mpix camera from another brand.
- There’s a bit of confusion regarding memory... The specifications at purchase indicated that the built-in flash memory ROM is 16GB, but the phone shows me 12 GB with a few extra... It’s not critical, of course, considering that you can install a memory card, but the question remains...
Pros: good cellular signal, even works from the basement!
Cons: there are some, but they are minor, see the text.
I bought it from dialogdv.ru, the reviews about the company are good, and I want to contribute to their collection of happy customers.
