On May 10, 2017, I found this person on the Freelancer website. The task was to promote an online store. After communicating with him via email, I decided to start a collaboration. I was sent a work plan for an entire year, with a monthly fee of 30,000 rubles.
On May 11, 2017, I paid for the first month's work. This was a BIG MISTAKE because in 18 days they only did the following:
1. Identified all cyclic links (the process of correcting these links is ongoing)
2. Set up a redirect from www to non-www
3. Corrected the robots.txt file
4. Assigned a region to the site
5. Corrected recommendations in Yandex Webmaster
6. Fixed code validity errors
This can be done in a maximum of one evening!!!
On May 29, I informed them that I did not intend to continue the collaboration and demanded my money back, to which they replied, "The money has been paid to people, work is ongoing." But all of this is empty words. I then drafted a complaint and sent it to them, to which they responded that they could only return 10,000 rubles. But I still haven't received even that money! I have now filed a report with the police. If necessary, I will go to court.
