I first learned about uKit about five years ago. At that time, it was quite a convenient and decent website builder that allowed you to create a service site with 20-30 pages. I was satisfied with the price-to-quality ratio, and they added important features once a year, while tech support quickly resolved any minor issues that arose. Unfortunately, about three years ago, significant updates stopped, but at least the existing features worked without glitches. About a year ago, the owners apparently decided to completely cut the development and support staff, replacing them either with AI or just dispatchers who don't understand the issues and can't help. Whenever a problem arose, they would respond with something like, "Thank you for reaching out. I have forwarded the information to the developers. We apologize for the inconvenience," and that was it. No bug fixes or even timelines for when the problem would be resolved. On one of the sites, I encountered spam in the forms. At night, bots attacked the site and sent 20-30 requests with the same phone number, bypassing the requirement to fill in other fields. Instead of solving the problem, support suggested, "You can replace all the buttons on the site with a floating 'Feedback' widget. In the settings of this widget, there is a protective Captcha option that should filter out the main flow of bots." So instead of solving the issue, tech support seriously suggested deleting 100+ buttons on a hundred pages and replacing them with one floating phone icon. A strange suggestion, to say the least. On another site, the forms stopped coming. Support sent generic responses like "We are already working on your issue" for five days. In the end, I had to figure it out myself and look for an alternative solution. Overall, what I can say is that over the past three years, uKit has turned from an acceptable builder for small sites into a morally outdated platform without proper tech support. I stopped creating new sites on uKit about three years ago, and after the events of the last few months, I'm seriously considering moving my existing small projects to another engine.
